Gilbert Arenas is an American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He currently plays for the Washington Wizards as a point guard and shooting guard. Arenas became one of the best young basketball players to ever come out of Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. He entered the 2001 NBA Draft and was selected with the 31st overall pick by the Golden State Warriors. Arenas is a three-time NBA All-Star, three-time member of the All-NBA Teams, and was voted the NBA Most Improved Player in the 2002–03 season.
